Lido Communes With an ‘Angel’ in Acoustic Cathedral Performance
Nothing makes a soulful song more intense than a church organ in a cathedral. All those angel statues looking down on you with pity in their eyes. Add some dark-colored mood lighting, then put Lido on the keys, and you’ve got yourself a hauntingly beautiful music video.

“Angel” is the latest single from the 24-year-old producer’s debut album Everything, and so far, the project’s presentation has been all about showcasing the artist’s musicianship. The short tour was performed in theaters as opposed to clubs, and the music video for “Dye” showed Lido working the song out in its live production capacity.
If this one doesn’t hit you in the feels, I’m not sure what will. No one can ever say Lido didn’t go all out for this.
When we last spoke with Lido as well, he was telling Billboard Dance all about how he was re-producing the tracks from his expansive Everything album into full-hearted live productions.
Not sure what it is about hair dye that’s got Lido so upset, but it sure fuels some incredible emotion in the recently released “Dye” music video. Lido sings into vocoded keys and goes absolutely ham on all manner of drums and percussion. If this is just one bit of the live performance, imagine what the rest is like.
