Liz Phair Enlists Ryan Adams to Record Her Upcoming Double Album
The release will mark Phair’s first in almost a decade.
Ryan Adams may be preoccupied with the upcoming release of his album Prisoner — out Feb. 17 — but that isn’t the only project he has in the works. Adams has taken to Twitter to reveal that he back is in the studio recording an upcoming double album by Liz Phair.
“Today we begin the new @PhizLair double album!!!” the tweet said, followed by the hashtag #ExileInPaxAmVille — a nod to both Phair’s 1993 debut, Exile In Guyville, and to Adams’ Los Angeles studio Pax Am.
