Jammin’ Oldies »
A tribute to the classic station in Chicago that replaced Rock 103.5. This was Chicago’s Jammin’ Oldies station that lasted from the late 90′s until it became KISS FM in Chicago in the early 2000′s. Motown, 70′s disco & R&B as well as 80′s old school. Anyway to get this??? These are the jams!!!
Skating Jams – Old School Mix 48 and it is now where to be found. I would like to put it on my ipod
Nope, like it says, not all tracks are available, for us to let you download that would put our business in jeopardy, sorry.
This gets me moving in the A.M.
Love this music and station! Brings back so many fun memories. Thank you!
thanks David, spread the word, we appreciate it, share it from the page
music is my peace.. thank u
I haven’t been able to get this station to work!! Anyone else having problems? PLEASE FIX IT!!!
There’s nothing wrong with it, I’m listening to it right now. Playing Hold On Tighter To Love. Are you even on the correct website? Page? There’s is nothing wrong, its a problem on your end, please fix it.
Thanks!
I am having trouble getting on to the Freestyle website this morning. But I can get on to the other sites to listen o music. Are you having problems with the site today?
I don’t understand what you mean by you are having trouble getting to the freestyle website. This is AddictedToRadio.com, there is a freestyle channel here, click this LINK to get to that particular channel’s page on our website – other than that i don’t know what you can mean by “you can’t get to the freestyle website”. There is no ‘separate website’ for anything, everything is on AddictedToRadio.com.

Thank you
I mean I can’t get your freestyle channel to work. I can listen to any of your other links but your freestlye link will not play.
should be ok, are you listening from our site?
Yes it’s working now and I am listening from your site.
I used to listen to these songs when I was in High school (80′s). I tell my kids “this is music”. They look and me and say “Mom, your old”. They don’t know what is was like to dance to these songs. I really like this link and website. Hard to find old school music like I used to hear back in the day…
yeah i agree with this music that brought everybody together from all races.like the taste of chicago when bmx was there no fights no probalems,we partied in peace, and now it’s not the same anymore with out bmx,and now chicago is split up into house vs hiphop & r&b
You’re taking me back to those 80′s basement house parties….Thank you so much for bringing this to the masses!!
Hi Delphina,
Thanks so much, we’re in the basement all the time! Black lights, glow in the dark posters and… well, ya know!
BEST MUSIC TO LISTEN TO
Hello,
I can’t believe I found this station that plays my favorite freestyle songs. Bring back so much memories. I was hoping to buy a cd of these songs. Do you have any i can buy please?
Lily,
Just visit the channel’s page, each song on the playlist has a ‘DOWNLOAD’ link on it
thanks!
I AM IN NIGERIA AND I REALLY LOVE LISTENING TO YOUR STATION. I LOVE YOUR PRESETATION OF OLD SKOOL VIBES. KEEP BOTH THUMPS UP FOR YOU.
i have a samsung galaxy s3 i can download the app but when i go to click on a channel it says an error and will not play.does anyone have this issue or knows how to fix it?
Hi Dan, try the TuneIn app, works perfectly
hey how can i play it in my ipad
Your site is filled with malicious windows. Radio 1CLUB.FM – Dance Hits (Chicago) does not play through Windows Media Guide.
Well, to address your false statements. There are no malicious windows, you don’t know what you’re talking about, secondly, Dance Hits plays perfectly through the Windows Media Guide. The issue is OBVIOUSLY YOUR ISSUE. There is no issue here and we resent your so matter-of-factly presented statements. There are many issues online, the two you’re stating exist on YOUR END, not ours. Thank you.
Hello. I am emailing you regarding old school mixtape music that was played on WBMX during the early to mid 1980′s. I would like to find out how can a person find this music, but I am not looking for the house music of that period. There were other mixes made during this period that just had r&b cuts, some hip hop cuts, and a little house, but I am interested in the mixes without all of the house music, cuts like body music, knockout, etc. I have attempted to locate songs of that period but without the correct artist or title of the song, my searches have led to dead ends, and a lot of the songs I am looking for were on some of these early mixes before house became so popular in Chicago. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Hi Oscar, Body Music by the strikers, Knockout by Margie Joseph as well as Knock Me Out by Gary’s Gang are tracks we’re assuming you’re looking for, let us know what you’re looking for and we’ll point you to the place to find them all legally online
thank you

Love the Mix DJ Ray Martinez put together, 20 Classic Dance Mix 01. This was, and still is, the best jamz, that were, SOUND!!!!. Perhaps, more mixes, can be played from those years, 81-89. I grow, up in, Chicago, and miss, these TUNES, TRACKS, DJ’s, BBB, KENNY, SCOTT, RALPHY, JULIAN, even MICK!, FRANKY, and the rest of the crew.
we run a mix about every hour on this channel. thanks for listening!
WOW!!! As a 44yr old homesick Chicagoan living on the West Coast, I am so glad I found this. I remember being a kid and waiting for the Hot Mix lunch mix. I will forever be listening to you at work. Thank you Thank you thank you!!!!
Thanks Tony! Ya gotta miss the food too right? LOL
What I really miss are Giordano’s and the Jew Town Polish.

Hi, I’m looking for a remix of a song you had on your station today! It was Pump Up The Jam, a remix of it with a voice over of Duke Nukem saying “make my day.” Which remix is this? Can I find it somewhere online? Thanks.
Hi Michael, it was the Ultimix remix from back in the day. Thanks for listening, spread the word.
Loving every minute of yr station… Greetings from Adelaide Australia
thanks TJ, spread the word, from Chicago to you… HELOOOOOO!
This is GREAT. I found by accident the WBMX Hot Mix Classic and have been playing it non-stop. I grew up outside of Chicago so this takes me back to when Music really was Music. I live in San Francisco now, The West coast Music really sucks…. I agree with Oscar Mason: I have tons of Dance Mixes I taped on cassette off the WBMX Hot Mixes that I had no idea who the artist was or the song name, but just knew I REALLY loved it. I agree it’s great to learn finally what song is or artist because you’re telling us… 30 years later I’m learning stuff!!!!! Thank you WBMX
Brad
Jammin oldies hits a sweet spot for me.
I ran and dj’d a very popular disco in Moscow ID in 1978-79.
I listen via a shout cast link … Usually on my IPad. Visited the website, today, for the first time so I could send the link to a friend.
Thanks for the jams.
Peace
Best station in the world! So many memories with this music! It’s great to be able to listen again…. great tunes!
Correction on artist: Korell – Paradise, not Corell – Paradise. Great song! i’m going to download this one for my iPod touch!
